With the advanced software supplied with the Proto Lase, z-axis calibration is fully automated, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. Once the part is placed inside, simply close the door and use the software to precisely lower the z-axis for optimal focus – ensuring accurate, repeatable marking with minimal effort.

Every Proto Lase system features a built-in cooling fan, eliminating the need for bulky water coolers to prevent overheating. Designed for efficiency, it keeps the machine compact and streamlined, making it easy to integrate into any workspace. Plus, its quiet operation ensures minimal disruption in any industrial environment.
Mark cylindrical parts.
All Proto Lase machines are rotary-ready, with a plug-and-play rotary attachment available for seamless cylindrical marking. The rotary precisely rotates parts to ensure consistent, high-quality engraving on both inner and outer surfaces. Featuring a fully equipped tooling plate, the rotary can be positioned anywhere on the bed to accommodate parts of all sizes and securely fastened for maximum stability.
Limitless Potential.
The Proto Lase features an internally opening door, maintaining a compact footprint and offering three-sided access for easy part loading. Our systems are all Class 1 lasers, ensuring safe use in any environment with the laser beam contained. The door includes a laser safety glass window for visibility during operation. For larger parts, a Class 4 override option allows the system to operate as a Class 4 laser with the door open – safety protocols, including the use of laser safety glasses are required for use.
