The History of Cyklop Needham.
Foundations in Marking & Coding
Roger Needham & Sons Ltd is established, initially distributing ‘Speedry Magic Markers’ before expanding into ink development. By the mid-1970s, the company becomes a recognised leader in industrial inks, laying the groundwork for future advancements.
Transition to Digital & Inkjet Technology
The company enters the inkjet market as a distributor for “Little David” Drop-On-Demand printers, leading to dedicated R&D labs in Ware, Hertfordshire. Continued innovation in industrial marking fuels growth, setting the stage for laser technology.
Breakthrough into Laser Marking
Needham Group is appointed the exclusive UK & Ireland distributor for Macsa Laser, a leading global provider of laser coding systems. This pivotal move establishes the company as a key player in high-precision, non-contact marking solutions for industries worldwide.
